PARTS....

On our robots we had to place on different parts these are some, i dont know that much about them so bare with me...

We had to place on these black blocks. these are called lego connect cables.{[ i think ]}, They are atatched to different parts of the robot. these cables enabled data to get out of or into the programming block.

There was also alot of different sized wheels, there was big wheels, small wheels, medium

wheels, wheels without the rubber tire around them and so on. The robot could still move with only back wheels but sometime the robot wouldn't work because the wheels were creating friction betweeen the tire and the side of the yellow piece so then it wouldnt move, sometimes the wheels were to small and when we connected them the yellow piece was on the ground and the wheels were not even touching the ground.

Robots

Robots

The robots which we are making, are made out of lego peices. The robots we are beginnign to make are sort of like this one...

The main peice is the yellow piece this is where everything can be atatched. the weels would be atatched to it the infered, the switch which was built in...

When creating the robot we had to put different weels and gears on so that it could move along the ground, sometimes it would move other times it would be stuborn and not move.

So yeah i will get back to you on other parts and other things that we do with it

Robots

Robots

because we have finished early Mr Cavil has let me colleen alyssa and louise create robots.

These robots use an infared system. There is a program on the laptop and it is a program for these robots infared system. We havnt used the system yet so at the moment sir said that because we havnt programmed it to do anything it will just go around in circles.
there are many peices to it for us to create.

We didnt actually do much this lesson just learn aboutthe bits and how to put it together.

Next lessson i think we will actually create it.

Tetris

TETRIS

i am playing tetris, and i am looking at the

Visualisation of geometrical shapes

how to make full shapes out of different shapes

to do what is above in different speeds

At the moment it is difficult to complete full blocks because the shapes are so different and they sometimes don fit, also they are not the shape you need.

This has tested me and i can say that if i had to do this as a job i would fail instantly

The frog

there was a small frog,
he sat upon a log
he fell asleep and he snoored
when he woke up he was bald
He wondered why he had no hair
It was because his was rare
he went down to the shop one day,
although it was very far away
He was walking around chewing on a fig,
Then he saw the perfect wig,
He put it on it was very pretty,
then he saw the big black kitty,
he leaped and leaped back to his pond,
and the girl frogs thaught he was very fond,
from that day on he felt very big
